3. To receive and approve the minutes of the meeting that was held on 22nd May 2025
It was RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 22nd May 2025, be approved for signing as a true and accurate record.
4. To receive any updates from the previous meeting
• Thorpe St Peter Church – Father Aiden has asked if Glendale can cut around the Gravestones and then Thorpe St Peter Invoice the Church. It was Resolved: Clerk to email Father Aiden and give him the details for Glendale so he can speak to them.
5. Planning from ELDC
a. To consider planning applications validated since the last meeting of the council.

b. To note planning decisions received since the last meeting of the council.
None
Mrs J. Banham filled out the Statutory consultation response on behalf of the Thorpe St Peter parish council deadline was Wednesday 6th August for The Great Grid Upgrade: Grimsby to Walpole Stage 2
6. Receive and comment on any Highways Issues
Planned Roadwork in Thorpe St Peter
• Lymn Bank Crossing - 12 Nov 22:00 - 13 Nov 06:00 GMT - National Rail
• Culvert Road Crossing – 19th Oct 22:00 – 21st Oct 06:00 – National Rail
• Steeping Road (Bridge next to Holly Tree) – 5th Jan – 6th Feb 2026 – Anglian Water (Pending)
• Station Road Crossing – 8th Jan 08:00 – 16:00 – National Rail
Roads to report to Highways as they need repair –
Harrison Lane, Fendyke Bank, Wedland Lane, Thorpe Bank,
Road sinking next to red brick house on B1195
It was Resolved: Clerk to email Highways regarding the roads that need to be repair.
7. To receive Clerk report on correspondence received and consider any recommendations.
• VJ Day Commemoration Service Market Place, Wainfleet 15th August 1045 for 1100hrs followed by Tea & coffee in the Methodist Chapel. Mr. J Taylor is laying on the wreath on behalf of the Parish Council.
8. Reports
a. River Steeping – Mr. J. Taylor had an online meeting recently and they spoke about the surveys. The river has had some reed cutting again. They have heightened the bank. The next meeting will be in September.
9. Finance
a. Bank Accounts – Clerk is having trouble with Barclay Bank getting online banking.
It was Resolved: to contact Barclays and add Mrs J. Banham.
b. To review and consider payment of accounts.
It was Resolved: That Council approve the following payment of accounts.
• Laura Willoughby – Clerk Salary - £150.00
• Thorpe Fendyke Methodist Chapel – Room Hire – £30
• Glendale – Grass Cutting Thorpe St Peter Church - £504.00
