Notes of the Meeting of Thorpe St Peter Parish Council held at the School Room, Thorpe Fendyke Methodist Chapel, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 10th November 2021.

a)    PCSO Jayne Richardson – Sent her apologies 
b)    Lincolnshire County Council Councilor Wendy Bowkett – sent her apologies and sent a report which was handed out to everyone.
Council session
1.        To not apologies and accept valid reasons for absence

2.        To receive declarations of interest
Mrs. J. Rowson declared an interest in the planning permission regarding Primrose Cottage
3.        Meeting of previous meeting
It was Resolved: That the Minutes of the Parish Council held on 11th August 2021 be approved

4.        To receive a report about River Steeping Steering Group
We received a reply from our MP Matt Warman. This was shared with members.
Mr. J. Taylor gave an update.
The reeds have now been cut. The Burgh Sluice and Haven House Doors are being investigated. Lindsey Marsh & Witham Forth Drainage board are looking into having the 3 Tunns Tunnels reopened. 
5.        Planning
To consider planning applications validated since the last meeting of council
i.    S/184/02014/21, The Farm House, Wedland Lane, Thorpe St Peter – proposed single storey extension – This was passed before meeting was held as they didn’t need permission 
S/184/01973/21, Primrose Cottage, East End, Thorpe St Peter – Planning permission for two storey extension and alterations – It was Resolved not to make a comment
    To note planning decisions received since last meeting of council -NIL
6.        To note correspondence received since the last meeting of council and consider any recommendations
•    Citizen’s advice Lindsey – Looking for help and support with a financial grant. 
•    Environment Agency newsletter on Saltfleet to Gibraltar Point Beach Management 2021
7.        To receive reports on training courses, attend and to consider Recommendations for training courses for Clerk & Councillors
Clerk reported on the courses that she has attended on so far which are New Clerk (2 days), Website Maintenance (2 mornings) and planning. Clerk has the following courses booked on to Budgeting for Clerks & Finance Staff, VAT for local Councils and Year-end Accounts & Audit.

Cllr J. Banham reported on the Chairman Course.
8.        Finance
To review and consider payment of accounts
It was Resolved: That Council approve the payment of accounts
-    Glendale Grass cutting - £113.88
-    Thorpe Methodist Chapel – Room Hire - £20.00
-    Clerk Salary - £100.00

To consider Council’s budget and precept requirement for 2022-2023
The budget was reviewed. It was Resolved that the clerk gets quotes for the churchyard grass cutting.
9.        To review Parochial Charities Accounts
It was Resolved to add Cllr J. Banham to the account. 
It was Resolved for the clerk to go through all the paperwork and find out how the money can be spent and look for the minutes. 
10.        To consider items for inclusion on the agenda for the next meeting of the Parish Council, to be held on Thursday 13th January 2022 at the School Room, Thorpe Fendyke Methodist Chapel
